What is measured?: The software measures the size of individual brain regions in the MRI scan and shows whether they are smaller than in people of your age.
When does it help?: With memory problems or suspected dementia, the measurement helps your doctor with the diagnosis and with follow-up checks.
How do I get it?: During an MRI scan with a radiologist who uses AIRAscore. Ask them about it.
What does it cost?: The analysis is usually paid privately. Your radiologist will tell you the price.

Measurements like a lab report: For every region the volume in ml, the percentile and the normal range, similar to a blood lab report.
Recommended in the dementia guideline: The guideline recommends considering hippocampal volume as a supplementary parameter for risk assessment in mild cognitive impairment.
Compare follow-ups objectively: At follow-up, the report shows how the values change over time.
